About the Artist

The desire to create has always played an intrinsic part in my life, whether sketching, painting, needlework's or interior design. I'm especially interested in texture, & fantasy, which are central to many of my inspirations. I believe if one can submit to the abandonment of logic & "reality", my world of art can be entered. Sometimes whimsical, sometimes ethereal. I'm always experimenting with materials, using figure fragments, tiles, porcelain, various glass ( stained/fused), semi-precious jewels (agate/crystal), stones & beads. My work is constantly evolving, as I strive to raise the bar. If my work emits a smile, or some emotion, the I'm satisfied... till the next piece....
