About the Artist

Leslie Bowman is based in Toronto, Ontario and has been working in the medium of mosaics since 2001. The primary material she uses is stained glass, however, she enjoys the adventure that comes from experimenting with the tactile properties of other materials. The goal of her work is to create a juxtaposition between the ancient aesthetic of mosaic and contemporary design.
